Whether it's an engagement shoot or a family photoshoot on a Wedding day, I always like to throw in a few interesting poses to get everyone's minds off the thought of being photographed. During the family photoshoot at a wedding last year, the wedding party tried a few opposite poses, for example; after the Groom and Groomsmen had held the Bride, it was the Bride and Bridesmaids turn to hold the Groom. The photos started out great and then became even better with laughter.
The best poses come from laughter, it helps get people out of their shells, joking around and generally having a good time. It also becomes entertaining for guests not in the photoshoot, helping everybody to enjoy the day.
p.s. No Grooms were hurt in the making of this photograph
